Marrickville Transport Action Group believes that it is not enough just to be 'active' (hard as that is at times with busy lives), we attempt to go one further by being proactive.
That means that we do our best to keep an eye on all sorts of planning and development issues that are likely to have an effect on transport and community in the Marrickville LGA. By doing this proactively, we give ourselves time to find positive alternatives to proposals that will take away from our enjoyment of our homes and communities. It also means that we look at ways that we can all contribute to improving the health and well-being of our community. A great example of this is our K-Savers Community Education project.
